Principal: Debra Smith
Debra M. Smith graduated from Bolivar Central High School located in Bolivar, Tennessee. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin, Master of Science degree from Trevecca Nazarene University, and she is working on completing the Doctoral Program at Trevecca in May 2010. In 2008-2009, Debra served as one of the Executive Directors of Elementary Schools. She was the principal at Buena Vista Enhanced Option School from 2004-2008. She has taught grades three, four, five, seven and Adult Education classes. Her daughter attends Hillsboro High School. Debra enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and going to the movies.
Assistant Principal: Shannon Hill
Shannon D. Hill is a graduate of John Marshall High School located in Chicago, Illinois. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from Fisk University in 1998 and a Master’s Degree in Education and Administration from Tennessee State University in 2003. After graduating from Fisk, Shannon Hill coached baseball at Fisk University from 1998-2001. He began working for Metro Nashville Public Schools in 1998 as an In-School Suspension monitor at Dodson Elementary and Donelson Middle. He began his teaching/coaching career of 12 years at Dalewood and Donelson Middle Schools. Mr. Hill is now the Assistant Principal at Jones Paideia Magnet Elementary School and hopes to make a positive impact with the teachers and students at Jones Paideia. Mr. Hill enjoys spending time with family and friends, mentoring young men, sports and lending a helping hand when needed.
Secretary: Camille Flemming
My name is Camille Flemming. I have been employed with the Metropolitan Public Schools for 19 years now. I am delighted to be a part of Jones Paideia Magnet School as Secretary/Bookkeeper. My purpose here is to assist the Principal and manage the bookkeeping system according to MNPS guidelines. |
